Brian P. McCormick, an Atlanta native, practices in the area of construction law, primarily representing contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers and sureties. Majoring in Management Information Systems, Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree from Auburn University in 2001 and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007. Prior to attending law school, Brian was an I.T. Consultant for Accenture.

While attending the University of Alabama, Brian was Editor-in-Chief of the Law and Psychology Review where he authored the Note, Your Thoughts May Deceive You: The Constitutional Implications of Brain Fingerprinting Technology and How It May Be Used to Secure Our Skies, 30 LAW & PSYCHOL. REV. 171 (2006). Additionally, Brian authored the Note entitled "The Times They Are A-Changin": How Current Provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Recent Developments in Indirect Copyright Law and the Growing Popularity of Student Peer-to-Peer File-Sharing Could "Chill" Academic Freedom and Technological Innovation in Academia, 32 J.C. & U.L. 709 (2006), which was published in the Journal of College and University Law, the official publication of the Association of College and University Attorneys. Also while attending the University of Alabama, Brian participated as a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board and the Robert F. Wagner Labor & Employment Law Moot Court Team and was inducted into the Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society. Prior to attending law school, Brian was an I.T Consultant for Accenture.
