David M. Gersh, Esq., is an associate with Hendrick Phillips Salzman & Flatt, P.C., where he practices in the area of construction law, primarily representing roofing subcontractors. He has assisted contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on a wide variety of matters in both litigation and arbitration, and has authored several articles directed toward construction industry professionals, addressing a wide range of topics such as bid mistake and unforeseen site conditions. Mr. Gersh received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Emory University in 2000, where he earned induction into Sigma Tau Delta for outstanding achievement in English. In 2005, Mr. Gersh received his law degree with honors from the University of Georgia. Mr. Gersh was a notes editor on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, where he authored: Note, Poor Judgment: Why the Iraqi Special Tribunal is the Wrong Mechanism for Trying Saddam Hussein on Charges of Genocide, Human Rights Abuses, and Other Violations of International Law, 33 GA. J. INT’L & COMP. L. 273 (2004). Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gersh was a case manager of construction disputes for the American Arbitration Association.
